A Lifehouse Story
Jason Wade woke up and didn't remember falling asleep and missed the concert. As he was waking up he heard Bryce and Rick talking in the other room. They sounded quite mad. "Hey guys" Jason spoke. "Hey sleepy, you feel any better?" Bryce Soderberg asked. "A bit" Jason replied then coughed.
Jason rubbed his sleepy eyes and started getting out of bed. "Hey, where do you think your going?" Rick asked. "To have a shower" Jason said. "No your not. You're too sick to perform tonight" Rick replied and pushed Jason back down.
Jason felt and looked tired so he decided to lie back down. Jason had fallen into a deep sleep and was that way the whole night. Jason woke up the next morning feeling even worse than the night before. He looked really pale and he was running a fever. Jason got out of bed and ran to the bathroom and threw up.
Bryce woke up startled and saw Jason's bed empty so he went to see if Jason was alright. "Jason, everything ok?" Bryce asked and knocked on the bathroom door. There was no response so Bryce opened the door and saw Jason had fainted. Bryce moved Jason back on to the bed where Jason was waking up. "How are you feeling?" Bryce asked. "I feel worse" Jason said.
They both looked at Rick's bed which was empty. "Ricky? You here?" Bryce asked and stood up. Bryce found Rick curled up in a corner wrapped in a blanket crying, "Rick, everything ok?" Bryce asked and walked over to Rick. "No" Rick replied in a shaky voice. Jason meanwhile was in the bathroom forcing himself to throw up all that he had eaten the past 2 days. Jason flushed the toilet and went back to bed. "You ok Jason?" Bryce asked. "Yea I'm ok" Jason replied.
Jason was scared to tell Bryce and Rick about his problem. Bryce had been noticing Jason has lost a lot of weight. Bryce was about to ask Jason something but Jason had fallen asleep. Jason woke up several hours later and got up to go to the bathroom to shower. After finishing his shower he decided to put loose clothes on and he went to eat something. "Jason, we need to talk" Bryce said. "About what?" Jason asked and got up and tried to avoid the conversation. At that moment Jason collapsed and was non responsive.
Jason woke several hours later and he had landed himself in the hospital. "What happened?" Jason asked. "Look at yourself Jason. You're not acting like yourself. Start explaining now" Bryce said. "Fine" Jason replied. Jason started to explain to Bryce and Rick about his problem he was having. "Your doing this all because your wife left you" Bryce said. Jason nodded his head yes.
