The Office Goes On Vacation
As we all know, Michael Scott may not be considered the best boss in the world, but he sure wins over his employees at Dunder Mifflin with a surprise and paid for company vacation. When Michael announces the trip to the office, the first person to speak up is Dwight, and he says "this is a bad idea, who will watch the office for 4 days?" "Not to worry" Michael says, "Corporate granted us permission to temporarily close this branch for that time." "All of us get to go?" Pam says from her reception desk. "Where are we going" Jim adds on. "Not to worry" Michael says again and hands out a brochure with all the information regarding the trip. "Michael, you're taking us to Jamaica?" screams Kelly and continues rambling while nobody listens. "We leave on Saturday. Everyone meet at the airport by 8 am."
It's 7AM in Scranton, Pennsylvania and the first person to show up at the airport is Michael. Him, and all four of his suitcases stumble into the doors. Everyone is looking at him like he is crazy, nothing out of the ordinary. The next people to walk in from Dunder Mifflin is Jim and Pam. "Michael, why do you have so many bags? The trip is only four days long, what all did you pack?" Pam asks. "You can never be too prepared, I'd rather be safe than sorry." Pam unzips one of his suitcases only to find a bunch of animal toys and treats. "Michael, are you bringing a pet with you?" "No, but what if I find one, you never know." Jim and Pam shake their heads and turn to see Dwight walking towards them. "Good morning Michael and Pam." "What about me?" Jim asks. "Did you two hear something?" asks Dwight. Jim shakes his head and laughs and doesn't respond. Kevin walks in along with the rest of the office staff. "How did you guys all get here at the same time?" asks Dwight. "We carpooled" replied Kevin. "Great, we're all here, lets get checked in" Michael says.
The herd of Dunder Mifflin employees move over to the check in counter and begin to get their plane tickets scanned and their luggage weighed. "You know you're only allowed to fly with 40 pounds of luggage before they charge you extra, right?" says Pam. Michael, looking confused, just replies with "nope". The lady at the counter says "Would you like to charge the $300 to the credit card on file?" "Sure" replied Michael.
As everyone finishes up checking in their bags, their next stop is security. "Empty your pockets of everything, place your bags, shoes, and coats in the containers and wait in line" says a security guard. "If i take these shoes off, someone's going to have to help me put them back on." says Stanley. After everybody moves through security, they move to terminal 5 where they wait for their airplane.
The Office crew boards the plane. The stewardess makes an announcement over the speaker system and announces that the flight will be seven hours long. "I cannot sit by Michael for seven hours" Jim says to Pam. "Just keep your headphones in and don't make any eye contact" replied Pam. Pam is sitting in the window seat, Jim in the middle, and Michael in the aisle seat. "So Jim, how have you been?" asked Michael. "Pretty good, it was really nice of the company to treat us to a vacation."
