Chapter 1
One morning Rory and her 1st grade 6 year old daughter Lila Gilmore at sitting at the airport in Connecticut.
Rory is doing work on her sidekick with her daughter sitting besides her reading her new book Miley Cyrus's ''Miles to go" while eating her mini cinnabuns and hashbrowns Rory got her to munch on before thier flight to San Jose to get to Palo Alto. Rory looks up at her daughter who has her knees to her chest while reading her book.
"how ya doing sweetie?" Rory wonders
Lila just nods.
"how's your belly sweetie?" Rory wonders
"Does it still have butterflies or that sick feeling in it?" Rory wonders
Lila just shrugs then shakes her head.
"you need to go to the bathroom before we get on the plane?" Rory asks her and looks at her
"is that a yes or no?" Rory wonders
Lila just shrugs again.
"well if you have to go lets go right now." Rory tells her
Lila just shakes her head.
"okay, so are you excited to see your daddy?" Rory wonders
Lila just shakes her head.
"no,um why?" Rory wonders why
Lila just shrugs "shh." Lila looks at her sternly
"twying to wead momma." Lila tells her
"okay, I'm sorry." Rory tells her and looks back at her sidekick and sighs and looks around the airport and checks her watch and notices that it;s still early.
"come on kido come with mommy to go get a coffee and you can get a chocolate milk or something." Rory tells her
Lila sighs and puts her bookmark in her book to save her place and sticks it back in her backpack and gets up and goes with Rory.
Rory takes her over to a coffee place.
"what would you like sweetie you want anything or are you good?" Rory wonders
Lila just shrugs looking at the menu "um hwot chowocwate?" Lila tells her
"you want a hot chocolate?" Rory asks her
Lila just nods.
"okay." Rory says and decides what she wants and walks up to the counter and orders it then waits with Lila and grabs some napkins.
