Paul Page: "For many years, Indianapolis has been the home of one of the biggest races in the world.

Many come to race the 500 miles, only few succeed in taking first place.

Names such as Al Unser, AJ Foyt, and Mario Andretti.

Dan Wheldon won last year's 500, only to lose his life in Las Vegas later that year.

Today, 33 more will race in Wheldon's honor. Only one will get the victory spoils and the bottle of milk.

Past winners returning include Helio Castroneves, Buddy Rice, and Scott Dixon.

Several new faces are also entering the 500.

Super Bowl Champion Aaron Rodgers, in his first ever auto race hopes to take it all home"

Aaron Rodgers: "Well, winning in football is one thing, but winning one of the biggest auto races is another. 32 are up against me. I just have to be my best"

Paul: "Rodgers has made headlines recently, adopting international hit singers the Chipmunks and Chipettes.

Rodgers hoped to come to Indianapolis last February, but was stopped short by the Giants.

He will start in the front row. A remarkable feat for a newcomer."

Buddy Rice: I was best friends with Wheldon. It was very sad to see him die. I will hope to win one for him.

Paul: "A moment of silence will be held in Wheldon's honor.

Only twice has the winner rejected the bottle of milk. Famously, when Emerson Fittipaldi won in 1993, he drank orange juice.

Arie Luyendyk, at 186 miles per hour, is the average fastest winner of all time. Many have tried to be faster, only to come up short.

Arie: "I've been a proud part of Indy for many years, now I'm part of the broadcast team, and I love it here."

Paul: "Few have won the Indy in their first try. Aaron Rodgers hopes to be the latest.

What will go down in the 96th Indianapolis 500-mile race? Only one way to find out. The Indianapolis 500, next, on ABC"
