Sunburn

A/N: Well, I actually got the central idea for this yesterday, but today i'm actually sunburned...so I felt like writing this! Enjoy, nyah!

Roxas hissed as the cold lotion made contact with his red shoulders. It was a day off from Organization XIII missions, and he'd spent it at the beach in Twilight Town with some of the other members, goofing off and having a good time...and of course, at the time, he didn't care if his skin got fried...
But he did now. It hurt like a bitch! For some reason, it'd only gotten his shoulders and back; his face, front, and legs had been miraculously spared from a stingy fate. He couldn't lay down without wincing in pain...
Which was why Axel was covering his back and shoulders with some kind of lotion they'd snagged from Larxene's room. The red-headed Nobody slowly and gently smeared the lotion over Roxas's raw skin.
"That was awfully dumb of you, Roxy."
"I know that..." He shivered; the coolness of the lotion didn't do much to soothe the heat radiating off of his skin, but the nerves had become so sensitive that the lightest touch from Axel's fingertips was magnified.
"I mean, even I wore sunscreen...and I love being sunburnt! You get all red and toasty, and you can stay under blankets to soothe your skin, which just makes things even hotter!" The blond didn't need to see Axel's face to know that he had that pyro-tastic grin plastered on his face. The older Nobody loved fire and all things related to it; heat, the sun, unlit matches...
Roxas sighed. "I know that, too..." On the inside, he hoped that Axel wasn't noticing how much he was quivering...it wasn't his fault that he was getting so worked up.
"And by the way..." Axel leaned close to his ear, whispering his next words. "I can tell that you really like this." Roxas's eyes widened in surprise. "Heh...maybe you're a masochist? You got burnt just so I'd rub your back with this stuff? It smells horrible, though."
Roxas forced down a moan when Axel started to lightly trace squiggles on his back with his nails. "I-I think it's lilac or something..." The emerald-eyed man snorted.
"Larxene has horrible taste in scents. I'd prefer something like lemon and mint."
"You would..." He gasped in surprise when Axel pressed his lips to the inside of his neck, kissing it lightly and pulling away.
"Next time, we get some kind of lemon-mint cream...and you make sure to get as much of your body sunburnt as you can. Got it memorized?" Roxas smirked.
"Always."
