Stranded by katryne
Summary: I've got Skinwalker stuck in my brain. The story of Numan begins…
-------------
It was supposed to be a simple fact-finding mission. Harnessing newly-gained knowledge about wormholes, testing their potential, the universe's own shortcuts through space.
It succeeded. Too well.
Now he's stranded in a land that poisons the soil of his home, the rocks he was studying, the rocks that were supposed to be the herald of his race's glory.
In return, he finds himself akin to the gods of legend.
But is it worth the awe of these simple natives when the last link to home he can no longer touch?
He only has the cool metallic shell, left by the river, the only thing familiar in this strange land.
For now, he can hope. And plan.
Truly, this place holds great potential for his brethren.
He found some promising substitute for repairs. He has time. All the time he needs.
In the meantime, he will play god. And he will etch a story on these walls.
