This is a fanfic somewhat inspired by mah good buddy Kadevi-chan. I would
have posted it a long time ago, but, I could not come up with a name for
Coresan's character. Anyhoo...this is gonna be a really short chapter, to
introduce Coresan and his *ahem* disposition.
I do not own Golden Sun, but the character Coresan is mine!

It was a slow day for the Vale Inn, with few travelers, and letting Mia and Ivan stay for free. It was at least a month after the incident upon Venus Lighthouse, and Isaac and company had made the long trek back with Felix, Jenna, Sheba, and Kraden in tow. Ivan had lately been having his nose stuck in some combat books. Mia had stayed somewhat hidden away, somewhat avoiding all of Isaac's attempts to ask her out. She had avoided Isaac a lot...considering who had appeared in the village... It was a strange eve indeed. A powerful storm had blown out of nowhere, along with a shady figure appearing at the inn door. He was around the age of Mia, Isaac, and Garet. He was tall and decently built, with silver hair that covered one eye. He wore a kimono type outfit that was a few shades of pale grey with two red dots on the chest. He carried a light sword, like a katana with a straight blade. He had a look that dared the world to oppose him. "Hello stranger! Welcome to Vale!" was Garet's hearty greeting to the boy. He gave Garet a sideways glare and bought a room, and sat at a table near the darkest corner of the room. The four friends looked at each other, and motioned to Ivan to see if he could read the warrior's mind and get some info...well, Isaac and Garet did. Mia was fascinated by the strange one with the silver eyes, and thought that they shouldn't do it. It would turn out Mia had the right idea. Ivan stood from the table and headed towards the stairs, which he would pass behind the mystery man so he could pry his mind of knowledge. As he walked, Ivan closed his eyes and concentrated, hoping not to trip over anything. He managed to open a channel, and suddenly, someone mentally lashed out at him, blocking his stream. All Ivan learned was that the warrior's name was Coresan, and he was a Jupiter Adept. Coresan sat at the table, watching Ivan walk by. Suddenly, he felt his mind being pried. He focused, and blocked the passage, and leapt from his chair, drawing his sword in mid-air, and landing, putting Ivan in a headlock with the sword's cold steel edge pressed against Ivan's neck. "Fool...stay out of my mind, lest I make yours fall on the floor..." Coresan whispered into the head of the nervous mage. Seeing this, Garet and Isaac stood from their chairs and walked over. "Hey! You! Let our friend go!" Isaac firmly commanded his hand on the hilt of his Gaia Blade. Coresan lowered his blade and shoved Ivan towards the two. "Fine. But keep this fool out of my head, or all of your heads will belong to me," Coresan said with a steadfast monotone. He sheathed his katana, and headed up the stairs to his room for the night.

How was that for interesting? Coresan is quite a shady char, no? He hasn't even begun to show how cold and self-centered he is...yet. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed, and REVIEW!!! Or Coresan will come and chop your head off! - -Raoul Cartoun
