Gone haywire,

Gone insane.

Woke in a facility,

Surrounded by HALZMATS,

I escape,

I kill,

I am free.

Got a sister,

No longer far away,

Dear Dana,

I am not far.

A bio engineer I once was,

Working at GENTEK,

Led by my former spouse,

Dear McMullen.

New York is infected,

By a deadly virus,

Thousands die,

Thousands suffer,

But I stand my ground.

Quarantined it may be,

But not I,

I will be free,

I am Alex Mercer,

An experiment gone wrong.
