Jedi Padawan
Standing here
All alone
In the dark
Hear the drone
Of the saber
In my hand
Waiting for
A shot to land
Waiting for
The blast to come
Feeling the droid
It's so dumb
For it knows not
With what it deals
Though I can't see
Still I feel
The droid firing
And my Master's eyes
As I deflect the blast
For I am a Jedi
The exercise finished
The light now shines
On a mission we go
My Master and I.
Jedi Master
Standing here
Watching him fight
I'm perfectly sure
That he'll be all right.
Proudly watching his
Skills displayed for me
Skills that I taught him
Throughout his journey
I am his Master
And also his guide
On his way to becoming
A great Jedi Knight
His skills now proven
I end the test
It is now time for us
To meditate and rest
Tomorrow we leave
On a mission again
Moving toward
His journey's end.
