She hated it. She absolutely loathed the fact that he knew her biggest weakness. The one thing that could practically have her knees buckling. The very secret attraction that could light a torch to her pale skin blue eyes shimmering in admiration, but also covertly aroused.

And that was his vernacular.

Dee Dee always knew Mandark was part Japanese-she remembered Lalavava speaking about it numerous of times to her-and Russian, but never knew the man knew how to speak his own heritage's tongue. When Mandark mentioned it, Dee Dee could only laugh. "But you only took french lessons in school!" She had exclaimed all the while snorting up a storm. Mandark was nowhere near amused at her accusation as he stared past her, a single eyebrow arched. "That was just so I could impress you," he had replied back deadpanned. However, Dee Dee still had yet to believe him waving the man off stating "whatever you say". She hadn't even heard Lalavava ever speak her own language, how could Mandark do so as well?

At least, that was until a week ago during the day of their wedding.

Many of Mandark's relatives arrived, mostly from Windbear's side of the family. According to Mandark, his mother had many differences she had yet to settle with her own family who disapproved of not only Windbear, and the fact she was seventeen she ran off with Windbear, but also of her hippie lifestyle. Dee Dee had been talking to many of her own friends and family when she overheard Mandark's conversation with his own. She was in shock by what she heard.

She couldn't decipher most of what he was saying nor could she understand the mother tongue, but he sounded...different. Although his voice was still as nasally as ever, he sounded much more...sophisticated. Almost grown up compared to his American voice. Needless to say, she was hooked.

She had no idea the man could speak in such a fluent way. The others had chuckled at whatever the raven-haired man said and one large man carefully clapped his shoulder, their voice clipped but small. Dee Dee could only swallow her embarrassment when Lee Lee approached the woman and questioned why her face was so red. When the two were alone, finally, the blonde had turned to the man, "your family was nice." Mandark only nodded distractedly while he only read his book in bed. Dee Dee was silent, staring at the words on the pages, but her mind much too busy to actually read what the text was saying. "Was that Russian you were speaking?" She had questioned. Mandark had turned his violet eyes on her. "No," he answered, "that was Japanese. Why?"

Dee Dee had only shrugged and turned her face away. "It's...a nice language," she murmured. And then it clicked for the man.

For the span of their honeymoon, Mandark made sure he took very well advantage of Dee Dee's new secret.

And god, she hated it.

He used her weakness everywhere they went. In restaurants, he would pretend to slip up and apologize to the waitress whenever he ordered something in his own speech. After it was waved off and the woman left, Mandark would only beam at Dee Dee. He also made sure to call his family members.

A lot.

Just like right at this moment.

Dee Dee sipped at her mug of tea while she glared darkly at her husband. She saw the smirk curl his lips into a larger grin, teeth almost flashing and his eyes focused completely on hers before he cleared his throat and pressed his lips together trying his best to keep a straight face. He nodded, a devious glint hidden in his deep violet irises, and answered the person on the other line, drawing out his words and pursing his lips purposefully at Dee Dee who only scoffed. She tapped a manicured nail on the wooden table, eyes closed to avoid his gaze. She could practically hear his internal laughter. She felt her face turn a dark red as the man continued his conversation. Mandark was never a suave man. Most of the time around Dee Dee he seemed clumsier, sometimes rambling his words or pulling at his fingers looking much like his eleven-year-old self with his head ducked low.

But whenever the opportunity arose, he never hesitated to poke at Dee Dee. It seemed to have grown as the years went by as well and Mandark grew quite accustomed to their relationship. It was unfair too! Only she could tease people. It wasn't the other way around! Dee Dee finally heaved a deep sigh, her chest tight as she inhaled once again when the man hung up the phone. However, she refused to open her eyes. Her leg bounced beneath the table and she felt Mandark's shadow fall on her. She only turned her chin facing away from him. She heard a soft chuckle before a pair of lips burned against her cheek then to the shell of her earlobe making her jolt in her seat. He spoke low sending a shiver through the woman. The soot blonde covered her mouth with one hand and tightly closed her eyes holding back a squeal.

"Aishiteru," Mandark whispered into her ear, breath warm against her cartilage. Dee Dee growled. "I hate you..."

A/N: Meh, just something random really after going through old headcanons I had for the Dexter's Lab kiddies. Mandark apparently was Japanese and Russian for me, and then I read some Dexdark fanfictions and saw how "suave" some made Mandark to be and then this puppy was created XD Also the translation for "aishiteru is "I love you" :P Enjoy this really random (and super unimportant) one-shot XDDD
