--

About two minutes after they left, Tart and Pai had proceeded to their 'relaxing' positions – for Pai, it was in front of a control panel, doing God-knows-what, possibly difficult math equations or refining strategies. Tart had taken to lounging about in a bean bag chair and reading earthling comic books, which he seemed to find hilarious.

Tart started slightly as he heard the sound of Kish reentering the ship. Pai was, as normal, like stone, unyielding, and didn't even turn around.

"So, Kish, what'd you do--?" The question died on Tart's lips as he saw...

...a giant bruise on Kish's right cheek.

Kish looked at him for a moment before turning away, muttering something about going to his own room. Suddenly, he fell as a giant weight, or rather a short alien, jumped on his back.

"OH no. You're not getting away that easy. What happened in the two minutes we were gone that gave you that bruise?"

At this, Pai turned his head to look at Kish, his expression as flat and unreadable as ever. Kish simply starting grumbling and attempting to get Tart off him. The latter looked cruelly amused.

"I'm not getting up until you tell me." Kish looked at him in revulsion, and then started talking in a very low voice.

Soon, he stopped, and there was silence throughout the ship. Then it was broken in a not so graceful manner.

"ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING?! GAHAHAHAHAHA! MEW ZAKURO PULLED YOU OUT OF YOUR PORTAL!?! AND THEN PUNCHED YOU!?! THAT'S...!" At this Tart found himself unable to speak, likely due to the enormous bouts of laughter that escaped from his throat, which in turn were due to his imagining of the look on Kish's face when said punch occurred. Kish started protesting, and Pai turned back to what he was doing.

So, in the end, Tart laughed over it for a week, Kish was humiliated, and Pai felt a new profound respect for Mew Zakuro, along with a new level of comprehension for the earthling phrase, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

End-----

Because the look on Kish's face when Zakuro pulls him out of the portal cracks me up.
