You Lose
It was simple, the game called 'relationships'. You followed all the rules: make the person happy, give them all your love and undevoted attention, etc.
The most important one was to not cheat. Be faithful to your girl or partner. Be honest. Don't lie.
Following all of these rules, you get a perfect and healthy relationship. Sometimes though, people don't follow these certain rules. And they lose.
Lose the ones they love. That loss makes you feel like you've lost everything.
That's why, in the game, you have to give it your all and be the best that you can. For yourself and for your lover. If not, shit happens and shit goes down fast and then everything you've build up and worked hard for falls apart. All because that one person disregards one of the rules and they lose.
Take James Diamond for instance. The teenage hearthrob of the band Big Time Rush. He had every living female lusting after him. He had every living male wanting to be him. Heck, some males lusted after him like the females did. The singer had no problem with that, though. He actually preferred the guys oer the girls. Hard to believe, but true.
What James really preferred were blondes. With emerald eyes. And bushy eyebrows. A voice that only an angel could own. Someone who went by the name of Kendall Knight.
That's what James liked. That's who James loved. And that's who James lost because he broke a rule. The most common rule that ends the game in a blink of an eye.
He cheated.
Even a month after the whole cheating thing, James still didn't know what came over him to hook up and fuck that ugly ginger. Sure, she had everything perfect in all the right places, but she wasn't a blonde with beautiful eyes and monster brows and a voice pure of gold. She wasn't Kendall and yet, he still did her anyway.
Of course Kendall found out. He was devastated because he loved James with all his heart. Fuck, James owned his heart but apparently that wasn't enough. He wasn't enough. Kendall broke it off with James immediately after hearing about his one night stand.
He was heartbroken to do so, but Kendall knew it was for the best. He also knew that if he did choose to still stay with James, he'd never trust the boy again.
James was heartbroken as well. But he knew he deserved it. Kendall was everything to him. His breath of fresh air, his source of shining bright light, his very first and only and ever will be true love.
He screwed it up; he screwed everything up. Now he had to pay the price. And the price was a bitch. Kendall moved on and was dating Dak Zevon now. James had to watch them everyday almost with a bitter heart. Logan and Carlos were still a bit mad at him for cheating, but they're slowly getting over it since Kendall is happy again.
Everything is going back to normal except James. All because he broke the rules of a simple game. Now he had to endure his price that he paid.
