A Spy Who Shares is a Spy Who Cares by Katherine Julia
"Pleassseeee, can I have a bite, Gallagher Girl?" Zach whined from across the table.
"I said 'no', Zach! Quit being such a baby!" Cammie said, spooning another bite into her mouth.
"But you know crème brûlée is my favorite!" He complained, making puppy dog eyes.
"Then why didn't you order it for yourself?" Cammie said, raising an eyebrow.
"Believe it or not, Cam, but I'm not made out of money. I can't afford it after the lobster I just bought you." Zach crossed his arms over his broad chest and glared.
"Hey, don't turn this one me! I wanted to split the cost!" Cammie cried, offended.
"What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't buy my girl some lobster once and awhile?" Zach reasoned, as if her were justified.
Cammie stared at him blankly. "Um, one who didn't steal his girlfriend's crème brûlée?"
Zach made a face. "Ha ha, Gallagher Girl, very clever. But seriously, just one bite?"
"Zach…" Cammie sighed.
"A spy who shares is a spy who caressss!" Zach sang.
"I hate you sometimes," Cammie said, finally relenting and passing him her spoon.
"No you don't, you love me," the boys across from her said as he loaded up with spoon with yummy goodness.
"I love crème brûlée more…" Cammie said under her breath, as Zach shoved the spoon into his mouth like some sort of animal.
"What was that babe?" Zach asked after he swallowed.
"Oh, nothing," Cammie said innocently.
"That's what I thought." Zach smirked.
