Why was she so dumb? Why did she agree to this silly bet in the first place? Not once had she won against him.
Robin sat at her table hunched over some paperwork grumbling all the time, "Stupid Virion with his stupid bet and his stupid charming ways of talking me into this. Blackberry wine costs a fortune." She eyed her small stack of gold with a trace of regret for she was almost sure that there was no way of winning the little strategy gamble against her husband.

The flap of her tent flew open and in came her husband. "Mon chérie,"he said excitedly, "Did I hear my name come out of your beautiful mouth?"
Robin sighed while making room on her table, "Yes, I guess so." They sat down opposite of each other. Letting his face rest in his hands the blue haired man noticed his wife's lacking enthusiasm, "What ails you, my dear? Indeed, you don't seem to be too eager for this game." Robin's eyes flickered to the few gold she had left. Reaching over the Table Virion gently took her hands and planted a kiss on the back of her hand. "Worry not!" he chuckled looking mischievously at Robin, "I have a feeling that this will be an outstanding match."

Robin let her gaze wander over the initial situation. In her mind she quickly made up a strategy how to proceed. She was determined to sacrifice as few units as possible and to win fair and square.
Well, at least in the beginning.
After her fifth move she already lost ten units. Two rounds later another three were fallen. Robin's brow was deeply furrowed, her mind racing to find a way to turn this game around. Even her attempts to play dirty didn't bring her any advantage. After briefly looking up just to see Virion wearing poker face that seemed almost smug to her, Robin was hit by a sudden idea.

She stood up, shrugged her much too large tactician cloak from her shoulders and stretched herself making sure her curves were visible. While fanning herself some air she sat down again and said, "It sure is warm in here," with the most innocent voice she could muster. Much to her dismay her husband's expression remained unchanged. He wasn't even looking anymore, but scanned the play board instead.
In her next turn she leaned forward more than necessary. Robin knew her cleavage was clearly visible. Although she was offering him more to lay his eyes on than ever before, Virion's gaze didn't even flicker down, but remained steady on her face. She didn't know whether to love or to hate him in this situation. Trying not to huff out of frustration the woman sat back again. None of her next attempts could provoke any more reactions out of him.
Pouting a little bit Robin watched the number of her wooden soldiers decrease more and more. As she relaxed a bit in her chair she could feel her foot lightly bumping into her husband's. Robin feigned putting long thoughts into her next move when in reality she was concentrated on running her foot carefully up and down his leg. Checking his reaction with what she hoped were seductive bedroom eyes Robin's foot strayed further up until she was softly caressing his inner thighs.
A boost of confidence rushed through her when she saw his expression falter a bit. He clenched his jaw.
With her last draw she stood up and placed her soldier carefully in the board. This was either a very brave move that could win her the game or a very stupid one. Probably the latter. Yet she tried one last time to distract Virion. Robin leaned forward and caught his lips with hers. Her husband returned the kiss impatiently. "Mon amour," he said, his breath tingling her neck as he looked down, "Alas, it seems like you lost." Following his gaze Robin saw her last soldier lying knocked over on the board. With a quick swing of her hand she pushed his remaining figures over as well.
"Whoops! Aren't I clumsy again today?" She said between kisses "Seems like we have to do it again. " Her voice was now breathy.
"With pleasure," Virion replied, his voice just as husky, "But now, milady, let me show you my humble thanks for your… actions during our game. You played well, but maybe I can show you some tricks myself."
With these words he swiped the game of the table. Robin clambered hastily on it pulling Virion in for another fervent kiss and burying her hands in his hair. She giggled from the tickling sensation as his kisses moved from her mouth to her collarbone. Pressing her body closer to his she whispered, "Well, then teach me!"
