Catching Fire in Katniss's Eyes

I wrote this little poem for a friend and I decided to share it with all of you. Please tell me how I did. BTW SPOILER ALERT for those who haven't read Catching fire

Catching Fire -

Peeta's heart will stop,

I will cry,

Finnick saves him,

Peeta is alive,

Wiress sings,

Wiress dies,

I hear a scream,

finnick cries,

the wire is set,

the arena goes boom,

i am safe i am sound,

District 13 we abound,

Peeta is gone,

Peeta is captured,

my boy with the bread is gone from me,

I have a song in my head,

about a tree,

where I shall meet him,

and he shall meet me,

and we will hang by a rope,

side by side,

together (i hope) .
