HEY! Amazingly enough I've thrown this together. Tried something different so if you find it kinda off, my apologies poetry still isn't my strong point. Also, apologies for bein gone for so long and for any grammatical errors, I'm writing in wordpad but I've found that I naturally type to use auto correct...I'm trying to break the habit...but old habits die hard. Anyway, hi to everyone, specially Zanisha, got back to reading your stuff and was, dare I say, inspired? This poem is two in one, one line sora, one line kairi...weird idea figured I would try, so this may be gold or it may be crap, I'll let you decide this means please review! Enjoy!
Duality
With every lock that I do turn
-The stars forever beyond my reach
I begin to wonder if ever I'll return.
-Will we ever walk together this beach?
I walk a path among the stars
-Solitary tears run down my cheek
Fearing to lose the love that is ours.
-Tears I used to believe would make me weak.
With every wound and scar I obtain
-But I now know these tears are the gate
I think more and more my fight is in vain.
-For you to return and fulfill your fate.
Each waning moment that passes by
-To fulfill the promise you made years ago.
I have only to question, to ponder, why?
-Even through the times you continue to glow,
Why haven't I been allowed to see your face?
-Brightly as ever, as if you were here
I have traveled the worlds over, and never a trace
-To rid me of any darkness or fear.
Of you has ever shown through the abyss.
-I look to the that door, to my hopes, to my dream;
So all that i have left is to reminisce
-Whenever I do I just want to scream.
About the old days where all us three
-Until I manage to remember the light
Would dream of nothing but sailing the sea.
-That always guides you through the fight
But I see know that dream will never be
-Beyond all the worlds will he roam
These worlds are my cage, never free
-Until the day he can say "I'm home."
--So now I finally say goodbye.
--Forever waiting just to say hi.
