Edward POV
"Edward, EDWARD! What are you looking at?" Emmett asked impatiently. Tearing his eyes off of the girl, he looked back at his brother.
"I wasn't looking at anything…" He said coolly and softly but also in a slight dazed voice, he had no idea what hit him, this scent that went thru his nose, was just so…so, alluring a scent he'd never smelled before. And it wasn't like Bella, no no no, nothing like Bella's, with Bella he wanted to eat her but with this girl… it was different.
She smelt soothing, like fresh morning dew or upturned soil.
When he had stared into her eyes he did not feel an animal hunger at all…
And he wanted her, NOW, in mind, body, and spirit.
It was inexplicable…
"You sure it's nothing? You look a little out of it…" he groaned "don't tell me you've found ANOTHER singer! Aww man!" and proceeded to hit the palm of his hand against his forehead.
Edward ignored him and looked in the direction of the girl…but she had vanished in the crowd of faces.
Iris POV (earlier in the morning)
Giggle giggle resounded through the halls along with excited whispers.
"OMG did you hear? Like there's going to be new students!"
"GOSH I SAW THEM THEY'RE SO SEXY!"
Excited squeels "OH MY GAWD!"
I tried to ignore it but their conversations did perk my interest… especially the sexy part… I began to pack up my things for the warning bell was going to ring that would signal the great crowds of hormonal teenagers to surge to their classes like cattle.
The gaggling girls became more in depth with their conversation about the family, how there were six of them, three boys and three girls, and how they were all extremely beautiful, etcetera…
I snorted a little, they make them all sound like gods and goddesses, can a group of people really be that attractive! They're probably going to loose their "shiny" at some point…I thought to myself.
(shiny is my may of saying special..ness xD that's how I refer to new students at my school too ^-^)
Heaving my backpack over my shoulder I began my daily stroll to my first class of the day… Calculus… so was not looking foreword to that.
Amongst the throngs of people, for the bell had rang, I vented off, only to meet a peculiar sight. There was a duo of EXTREMELY charming men oh my LORD what the-oh my, what am I seeing? Ran through my mind but I quickly masked it and hid my fascination because no person wants to be stared at so …. Creepily on their first day of school.
I managed to distract myself by looking down at my notebook which I use as my planner so I would not be tempted to look at them.
But, when I passed by, this weird feeling came all over my body, I was tingling all over, and I swear the breath was taken right out of me.
I made a mistake, and glanced up, only to make eye contact with none other than the shorter of the two, his molten eyes staring into mine with the same feelings as mine: confusion and wonder.
