She is walking in the forest near Konoha.

We all die sometime.

Her face is sad.

But sometimes we leave too early.

She had done what she had to do.

Too early for us to say what we meant.

Annoying (kind)

Weak (strong)

Pathetic (wonderful)

It had been a rainy day when she found out.

The sky was crying.

It had been Naruto who had told her.

Sasuke had been found dead.

Sakura walked to a nearby tree.

Next to his body had been a letter.

And took out a kunai.

A letter for her.

The girl started carving.

While she carved she thought of what had been written.

Sakura

I never told you what I really thought, and now I never will. At least, not in person.

I never thought you annoying, weak, pathetic or any other mean thing I called you. I didn't mean the harsh really meant to say were words of encouragement and kindness. What I really meant to say was that I love you.

I had planned on spending the rest of me life with you but, as I write this, I can feel Deaths cold hands reaching for me and, I know, that what I had planned will never come true.

Keep living your life and know that I love you.

Sasuke

She had received that letter twenty years ago.

Sakura continued carving into the tree.

She had taken care of Naruto.

He had become the greatest Hokage and married Hinata.

Unfortunately, she couldn't live her life.

How could she when Sasuke was dead?

She couldn't.

But she would soon be able to.

She finished carving.

Soon she would be with Sasuke again.

And they would lead a happy life together.

Sakura took her kunai.

And raised it.

Naruto would be fine. So would be Ino and everyone else.

She thrust the kunai into her broken heart.

They'd all be fine…

And she would be with Sasuke.

Her lifeless body was found five hours later by Shino and Neji.

They both cried.

She was laying underneath a tree with carvings on it.

Here was where I,

Haruno Sakura,

Took my life to join

Uchiha Sasuke.

I could never live

properly without him.
