RIP Sam and Cat (Not a fanfic)
As many of you loyal fans probably know, Sam and Cat has officially been cancelled for good. Like, it's never coming back. To be honest, I wasn't that bothered at first because Sam had never been my favourite character on iCarly, Carly had been. But then, it hit me.
When iCarly ended and I heard about Sam and Cat, it felt to me as if iCarly hadn't actually ended, because its essence would still linger on that show.
I had been a huge fan of Victorious as well, so I was very pleased when I found out my favourite character Cat wasn't gone forever. But now, it's all gone.
Nickelodeon's top shows have ended, forever. There will be no spin-offs or specials or new episodes to look forward to, ever. I felt empty when I learnt this. Not only because that hope that Carly would return for the final episode of Sam and Cat, but because our favourite Nick characters are gone forever.
I'm sure most of you are aware of Jennette McCurdy's scandals photos, but to be honest when they leaked I couldn't care less until I found out that Sam and Cat's future was at risk. There are still the rumours that that is why Sam and Cat was cancelled, along with the apparent argument with Ariana Grande and Nick paying her more.
We will never officially know why the show was cancelled, but what we do know is that the characters will live in our hearts for a very long time. Repeats just don't feel the same, so they?
But I guess if Sam and Cat if over, it's not just that, it's iCarly and Victorious as well.
Rest in peace iCarly, Victorious and Sam and Cat.
