The year is 845 and the big war is taking place. There is starvation in many cities and several thousands have died from diseases and lack of food.

Levi ran through the empty streets in the city with Eren behind him. Their and the two men's footsteps echoed through the empty alley. Levi could hear how they came closer so he grasped Eren's hand and increased the speed. The younger man was breathing heavily behind him and Levi knew that he would not be able to run anymore. Levi turned right around a building and pulled the younger man behind a bush.

Both were breathing heavily when Eren's soft green eyes looked into Levi's. The younger man leaned towards his love and gave him a soft kiss on the lips. Levi froze for a second, wondering why that little brat wanted to be romantic in the middle of a deadly situation. Levi's thought didn't go further than that before the young man kissed him again, this time with more passion.

Levi was surprised but got carried away in the moment. This time Levi kissed him, he ran his tongue over the younger man's bottom lip, asking for entrance. Eren answered by parting his lips, allowing Levi to kiss him passionately.

After a few passionate kisses the young man pushed Levi away. They where both out of breath after the kiss as they just sat there staring at each other, taking a moment to breathe before Eren leaned towards him again, wanting more.

Levi closed his eyes, waiting for the kiss to come but it never did, instead he heard a scream. The young man had just had been dragged out of the bush by one of the two men who was following them. Levi was shocked and mad, now he was furious.

With all his strength he jumped onto the man's back. The sudden attack shocked the man which forced him to drop the young man, Eren falling to the ground with a yelp. Levi froze as he watch the brunette fall to the ground. He pushed the man away and ran over to the brunette to see if his baby was okay. He didn't get that far before he was pushed into the wall. One of the men wearing black pulled out a gun and shot Levi in his shoulder.

He could hear the brunette screaming his name as he fought to get closer to him, but the black dressed man stopped him and dragged him away.

Levi screamed his name, before everything went black.
