Birthday Wishes Do Come True
'Everything seemed normal that day' Fillia recalled, 'It was my birthday, but I wasn't in the greatest of moods,' the thought made her smile. And, completely forgetting that she was supposed to go somewhere today, she got lost in her memories...
"Stupid Namagomi!" Fillia yelled and swung her mace at the ever disappearing target. Those amethyst eyes which opened so rarely were watching her in their signature closed way. That same finger waggle and "Golden Dragons are always so violent" speech was really irking her. That infuriating Xellos was tormenting her again and the rest of the slayers, whom saw this display of affection quite often, just watched. Fillia finally accepted that she would never hit him and started drinking that tea that she loves to pull out of thin air. "I hate that guy." She said calmly though she knew deep down it wasn't true. Suddenly Amelia broke the rather awkward silence which followed Fillia's statement by shouting "Look! It's a town just up ahead!" Naturally Lina and Gourry were up and bolting towards the poor place singing their food chant. The rest of them followed and before too long everyone was in their rooms falling asleep. Well in their rooms at least. Fillia was thinking. She felt his presence and Xellos appeared. He grabbed her and pulled her roughly into a kiss so passionate that afterwards she was only able to watch as he moved around her room. He placed a silver ring inlaid with a sort of ying and yang pattern with a sapphire and an amethyst. He placed matching earrings, a necklace, and a tiara on her bed stand. After that Xellos left. Fillia didn't like that. A single tear rolled down her cheek and she lay back on her bed. "Xellos..." she murmured. He appeared at her command. He kissed her and lay next to her. ( Sorry this is a PG fic so I cant say anymore). In the morning Fillia awoke alone. She wondered if it was a dream when she caught sight of the ring. She smiled and Xellos appeared next to her. He laid a hand on her and suddenly frowned. He moved his hand to her stomach and held it there. He glanced at her face and looked away. "You are... pregnant," he said finally. Fillia looked shocked. However, she wasn't mad like Xellos thought she would be...'
"Mom, hurry up!" Two voices urged her out of her musings. She glanced around. Her eyes met a young girl's of perhaps 10 years. Her eyes were a very light pink. The same as her hair which reached her butt. Her eyes were large and kind. She was sweet and a healer. The exact opposite of her twin. Fillia's eyes left Sakura and moved to her sister. Reianniae, or Rei, had her father's hair color, eyes and attitude. She was a mazoku and dragon. but looked that of a monster. Her purple hair reached the floor, but was tied back. Fillia's gaze at last landed on her husband. She loved them all so much. Then she hurried out to meet Lina, Gourry, Amelia, Zelgadis, and their children. Fillia was truly content with her life.
