It's wrong to start a relationship the way they did. Yet something just seemed to click when they first met. Maybe he's just diving head first into this? To erase all the things he feels for the mother of his niece. To forget the fact that she walked away from him and married another.
It hasn't even been a week seen he walked into that. Starting something with Gia. Call him selfish all you want. But when his broken heart seeks comfort he listens to it. He never indulges in petty emotions until now. She stormed into his life and made a mess of it. Just like she said that he needed a woman in his life to do so. Who would have thought she was the one to do so?
It's as if each kiss is addicting, as if they are trying to smother the fire and the pain that they each felt. His need to forget and find comfort just as she has the same desire; they try everything to erase it all. Deadly and luring; something their nature tells them is right. How can he deny that he feels an attraction to her? Was he to blind to see it before? Too caught up in Hayley to notice the gem that hide in the shadows?
It doesn't seem to feel wrong when they go against all odds beside one another. It feels like he's finally found some peace. Yet something in his heart tells him she's not Hayley or Tatia. But why would he want to be alone with emotions that neither can return? At least they understand each other and if things move forward so be it.
The question that remains… will he be able to allow her into his battered heart? Be able to face Hayley with Gia at his side? He could… Just to show her that he doesn't dwell much on the pain… A mask over his being… that only his family and Gia know off. There is one thing for sure, that each kiss that they exchange. Is that of a dead love that will never rises again. Kisses of the ashes of broken dreams and hearts. Ash kisses for the ones that are denied love.
