Prompt: Emotion Pride.

Andromdea is looking at her and begging her to understand that she loves this boy, that it isn't just some rebellious streak or that she's just doing it to upset everyone.

The maternal instinct in her wants to understand and not to lose her daughter.

She is her mother, she is the one who carried her for nine months and raised her in the best way she knew how.

Maybe she wasn't the most affectionate person, but she wasn't raised to show affection to anyone or anything.

Even though her instincts as a mother wants to understand, her pride as Pureblood doesn't and that takes over.

She leaves her daughter sobbing on the floor because her pride cannot bear to face the ridicule she'll suffer from her friends because her daughter is involved with a Mudblood.

She knows her pride has cost her daughter, but she's a pureblood the one thing they have always had is the pride that they are better than everyone else.

And Druella Black can't let her daughter destroy the one thing that makes her and others like her the way they are.

Even if means that her own feels like it is being ripped into tiny pieces.
