If I Could Change the Past…
MyFavoriteOutfitIsAStraightjacket
The elevated wind rushed past the man standing in the clock tower's ledge, making the hood of his clock surrounding his face flutter. A pair of brilliant, unmoving green eyes shown though the shadowed face.
"Olette!" came a voice from below. "Hurry up or we're going to miss the train!"
Green eyes twitched downwards to a boy and a girl running down the cobblestone street. The laughed and joked with each other, obviously close friends. Axel could practically taste the sexual tension between them in the air.
Axel had been watching these two, along with two other boys that they commonly associated with. However, the redhead was on interesting in one of them. A young blonde named Roxas.
It pained Axel to see Roxas so happy with his new life. It pained him even more when he remembered that Roxas remember nothing of the Organization or even Axel himself. Axel had always thought that he could depend on Roxas no matter what happened. Those hopes were crushed miserably when Roxas disappeared from the Organization and left Axel alone. Now Axel had no one left seeing as how most of the remaining twelve members of the Organization viewed him as a murderous traitor.
Axel snapped himself out of his thoughts and brought himself back to the current task. No matter what, Axel had to make Roxas remember. One of their last encounters ran though his head:
This would be his last chance to make things right. He had to stop his friend from leaving no matter the costs. If Axel didn't do something soon, Roxas would be gone forever
Roxas stood a few yards away, his back to Axel, ready to leave.
"No one would miss me," the blonde has mused sadly.
Axel stumbled over his words, trying to think of the right thing to say. The words he chose would be drastic. He quickly settled on saying:
"That's not true… I would…"
Oh, so much more would he have liked to have said. Like how he depended on his good friend Roxas. And if he had had a choice, Axel would have ended with something along the lines of, "You're so much more than a friend to me."
But Axel was a coward. Roxas would never change his mind. And if Axel reviled his true feelings to the boy, it would only scare him off more.
Axel had had numerous dreams of what could have been… if Roxas had accepted his words. Current events could have turned out so differently.
Roxas and his friend Olette were long out of sight now but Axel still perched on the clock tower, staring at the spot where he had last seen them, wishing with all of his heart that Roxas would come back.
The chance was slim and miniscule that Axel could make Roxas remember what his past had consisted of but he still had to try.
And he would.
Someday…

Wow, this was short little drabble wasn't it? But I think it was kinda cute right? Sadly one-sided but…. Yeah…. I love Axel (hopeless fangirling)
Oooookay, constrictive criticism, anyone? And I really so mean constructive. Don't hurt my self esteem by saying my story sucks or anything. Cuz then I might never right again… and that would be a terribly tragedy, would it not?
Alright, I welcome reviews, my little duckies!
