*NOTE- All the Spanish in this was taken from google translate. I apologise for any mistranslations. I don't speak Spanish, I speak French.

Annabeth stared at the notes in front of her, frustration clear in her stormy gray eyes.

"Leo," her voice was like steel, echoing off the walls of the bunker. "Is there any particular reason why the notes we all have to read are in Spanish?" From across the bunker, there was a crash and a small shriek of pain, followed by: "I'M FINE, I'M FINE, IT'S COOL!" Annabeth rolled her eyes as Leo ran into the room, hair aflame. Normally, she would've laughed- it was a comical sight, after all.

But this was no time for laughter.

"Leo, your hair's on fire," she informed him dully. The pyrokinetic looked up and yelped, quickly extinguishing the flames.

"Joder Annabeth, you nearly gave me a heart attack," he mumbled, straightening out a kink in his suspenders. "Whats wrong?" The daughter of Athena sighed, shoving his notes in his face.

"They're in Spanish," she deadpanned. Leo snorted, swatting his papers out of his face.

"Very observant," he drawled. Annabeth breathed in deeply and counted to ten in her head.

"Why?" she asked tensely. "We all have to read these, and none of us can read Spanish as well as you can." Leo rolled his warm brown eyes and started walking, Annabeth keeping pace behind him.

"I'm not surprised," he said, tapping randomly at the unfinished hull of the Argo II. "I'm fluent." Annabeth was resisting the urge to pull a dagger on the mechanic.

"I know that," she said through gritted teeth. "But you speak English too. Why are your notes in Spanish?" Leo stopped and exhaled.

"You kept correcting my grammar," he said simply. Annabeth's eyebrows met her hairline in surprise.

"Excuse me?" she asked. Leo gave her a semi-irritated glare.

"You heard me," he said. "You kept correcting my grammar and whatnot. It annoyed me, so I switched to Spanish. Problem solved." Annabeth's eye twitched.

"And another problem created," she growled. "As I said before, none of us speak Spanish." Leo shrugged.

"They can learn," he said, unaware of the murderous glare Annabeth had trained on him. "It's not that difficult. Look, I'll teach you." Annabeth's hand started creeping towards the dagger in her belt. Leo noticed this and started backing up.

"See, mi querido," Annabeth's glare intensified. Leo started wondering if provoking the daughter of Athena was a good idea, and reached the conclusion that he should run when Annabeth's hand gripped the hilt of her dagger.

"Bien voy a ir a trabajar en la nave otra vez por favor no me lastime," he squeaked, then turned around and fled, Annabeth hot on his heels/

"GET BACK HERE VALDEZ AND TRANSLATE YOUR NOTES!"

"WAAAAAA ANNABETH PLEASE DON'T KILL MEEEEEEEEEE!"

Y'know, I initially wasn't gonna post this, mostly because I had to type it up from a notebook, but it actually wasn't that bad. Maybe I'll type up that 136 page story next...
