"Hey dad, I found the trophy guy, do you want to give me the unanimation spell now?" Alex asked her father.
"Before I do, we're going to need to have a long talk," Mr. Russo said.
"I know, I know, I'm grounded for 3 weeks," Alex said.
"3 weeks, how did you come up with that?" Mr. Russo asked.
"Well, 1 week for doing magic without your permission, 1 week for letting a trophy guy run around the house, and 1 week for trouble I'll probably get into in the future," Alex explains.
"Well, that's 1 more week then I was thinking of, but we'll go with that," Mr. Russo said, "now, say garybay immobilitay," he finished.
"Garybay immobilitay," Alex repeated.
*-*-*30 minutes later*-*-*
"What took you so long?" Justin asked, pulling Alex into the hall and giving her a hug.
"I missed the train so I had to take the bus where this guy was selling these really cute earrings…," Alex said.
"Can you just do the spell please?" Justin asked, cutting her off.
"Garybay immobilitay," Alex said.
"Is it gone?" Justin asked.
"Yeah, you're back to your normal, huge zit-self," Alex said.
"Thank you so much Alex, how can I ever repay you?" Justin asked.
"I can think of one way, but first, you have a girl to apologize to," Alex said.
"What do you mean?" Justin asked.
"Turn around," Miranda said tapping Justin on the shoulder.
"Oh, Miranda, I am so sorry, I just have this huge zit and I really like you, and nothing was going right," Justin explained.
"Justin, it's okay, I have a zit too," Miranda said.
"Oh, I'm still sorry that I didn't tell you, but I'm not sure if being boyfriend and girlfriend is going to work," Justin said looking down.
"I agree, but can we stay friends?" Miranda asked.
"Yeah, of course," Justin said.
"Okay, I'm actually going to head home, so I'll see you tomorrow in biology?" Miranda asked.
"Yeah, see ya," Justin said and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Aw, that was sweet, now for the way to repay me," Alex said, making Justin turn back around.
"Oh yeah; how can I do that?" Justin asked.
"Call a cab to get us home; and I'll tell on the way back to the sub station," Alex said smirking.
"Okay," Justin said and led her out of the hotel where the dance was being held and flagged down a cab.
"Where to?" the cabbie asked when he pulled over.
"Waverly Place, please," Justin said politely.
"Are you ready to find out how you're going to repay me?" Alex asked after they had gotten into the cab.
"Yeah," Justin said.
"Just close your eyes and I'll do the rest," Alex said.
"Okay, my eyes are closed, now what?" Justin asked.
"This," Alex said as she leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips.
"Did you just kiss me?" Justin asked as he opened his eyes.
"Yeah; what are you going to do about it?" Alex asked.
"Nothing," Justin said.
"Nothing!" Alex asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, nothing, except this," Justin said and kissed her with all the passion he could muster.
"Wow; I didn't know that you were able to kiss with that much passion Justin," Alex said, gazing up into his eyes.
"Neither did I, Alex," Justin said, as he too gazed into her eyes.
"Waverly Place," the cabbie said, "that will be 20 dollars," he finished.
"Here you are, and thank you," Justin said handing him the $20 bill.
"No problem, kid," the cabbie said as Justin and Alex climbed out of the cab.
"That was a great prom, wasn't it?" Alex asked as she intertwined her fingers with Justin's.
"It was a night that I won't soon forget," Justin said, kissing the top of Alex's head.
