A Muffled Sob

As Sirius walked down the hall way he heard a muffled sob.

"Bella?" He asked as he turned the corner and found Isabella on the floor crying.

Sirius was some what amazed. He had never seen Bella cry in all the years of knowing her. Even on the day that Derek tried to rape her. Just thinking about that made Sirius shiver.

"Sirius?" Bella asked looking up at him trying to wipe the tears from her tear streaked face. Sirius quickly sat down on the floor the comfort her.

"Bella what's wrong?" Sirius asked, "did Derek try to hurt you again that son of a …"

"No Sirius, it's not Derek" Bella said quickly. She didn't want him trying to kill Derek like before. He probably would have if she hadn't have stopped him.

"Well what is it then?" Sirius asked

"I found this…" Bella said as she showed him a picture.

"Who's…" Sirius stared but was cut off.

"That's me, my mom, Remus, Rolmus, and my… my dad" Bella said as she tried to hold back tears but some escaped and rolled down her face. Remus had told Sirius that his dad left him and Bella when they were nine. Sirius was remembering that dad when he was pulled out of his day dream by Bella saying.

"It was my fault you know" Bella said letting her self cry freely not trying to keep the tears in anymore.

"What?!" Sirius exclaimed.

"It was my fault he left," Bella replied, "I was never good enough. I wasn't smart like Remus or athletic like Rolmus. Hell I'm not even pretty!"

"Bella that isn't true… "Sirius started.

"NO! I was a huge mistake, a disgrace to the Lupin family!" Bella screamed choking out the last few words.

"You listen to me Isabella Lorelei Lupin. You are just as smart as Remus. And a hell of a lot better at Quidditch than Rolmus. Bloody hell Bella you're the most beautiful women I have ever known. You shouldn't care what your father thinks you're a great friend. People like you for you. Bella your father may not have loved you but… I do." Sirius said.

"You love me?" Bella asked after she got over the shock that her crush since first year just said he loved her. Sirius looked into Bella's eyes and said what he wanted to say for so many years but never and enough courage to. (a/n for being in Gryffindor it took him long enough)

"I love you Isabella Lupin I always have and always will"

"Oh Sirius I love you to" Bella said while closing the distance between them for a breath taking kiss. That one kiss sent giant shock wave through their body's to the end of their finger tips and to the bottom of their toes. They just knew they were meant to be together. When the broke the kiss they were both completely shell shocked.

"Wow!" Sirius said.

"Ya wow" Bella replied. After a while of just sitting there Sirius spoke up.

"Miss Lupin would you make me the happiest bloke in the world and be my girlfriend?" Sirius asked.

"Why Mister Black I would love to" Bella replied happily. After this was said they kissed again but this time with so much passion six whole years of passion and desire in that one kiss but they both new there were many more to come. That night as Sirius and Bella walked down the corridor to the Gryffindor common room hand and hand Bella felt complete. She never would fell sorry that her father left she didn't need him she realized. She had everything she needed her fantastic friend, a great twin brother, and most of all Sirius.
