A kiss is just a kiss until you find the one you love,
A hug is just a hug until you find the one you're always thinking of.
A dream is just a dream until it comes true.
Love is just a word until the day I met you.
"Levy get back to work!"
Startled, the girl let the book's pages flutter closed, "Sorry ma'am!"
She placed it back on the self and stood. Yawning Levy made her way to the front window. As she flipped the sign to open, something or someone made a shadow on the blinds. Curious, she peaked through the shutters to see a tall man with jet black hair. Piercing covered his face, and tattoos snaked around his body. Levy backed away from the window quickly causing the blinds shake.
"Oh god I hope he didn't see me," she muttered to herself. Outside a quiet chuckle escaped his lips. He lingered only for a moment and started walking again. Levy heard a bell ring from next door, the tattoo parlor. She had never been inside but she knew that all kinds of scary looking people went there.
"Young lady! I do not pay you to goof off!," the boss shrieked from behind her.
"Sorry ma'am!" Levy apologized.
Handing the bluette a feather duster, the old woman hobbled back to her office. "Great. Dusting," she sighed and made her way to the bookshelves. All these book seem to do is collect dust. Customers are rare and never buy much. Levy, being the only employee, had to do everything. While her hag of a boss sat around doing nothing. She really didn't mind just being happy to be around so many books. Her cleaning caused the dust to strip up and "Achoo!" After she finished dusting she grabbed some of the empty boxes from the latest shipment of book and took them outside. She dropped the boxes on the curb, and glanced at the parlor. There he was, the guy from earlier. But he wasn't working, he was standing outside, petting a cat. "A cat?" she whispered confused. She walked toward them, trying not to scare either one. "Uh..cute cat," Levy said.
The man turned and looked at her. He ran his eyes all the way from her head to her feet, sizing her up. "Thanks, but he's not mine," he scratched the cat's chin.
"Oh?" she crouched down next to him.
"Yeah I found him walkin in the street a few weeks ago and I think he likes me."
"Aw how sweet," Levy smiled, "I'm Levy, by the way."
"You're the girl from the bookstore right?"
"Yup that's me."
The man stood up, towering over Levy "It's Gajeel." He offered his hand to her. "So how's business doing, shrimp?"
