Dawn's P.O.V
"Mum, Mum, Guess What?!" I bellowed searching the empty dark house for my mum. I was anxious to tell her the news. The news that turned my life over, BIG STYLE! I turned the lights on, every time welcomed by an empty shallow room. I was now frustrated and decided just to bunk the day and head to Ash's.
As I turned on the living room light the room didn't seem so empty. Quiet whispers were heard and there was pink panther party decorations... I slowly entered the room, anxious to know what happened. Suddenly faces popped out from hiding corners beaming "SURPRISE!" I gasped in shock. My heart was racing a fast irritating pace. "What on earth-?!"I snapped, scared to death. I held my chest, checking the beats of my poor puny heart. May jumped out of behind the blue leather sofa and gave me a massive B.F.F hug. "Happy birthday!" she beamed, smiling at me. I smiled in awe. "All this?! You shouldn't have!" I chuckled, observing the detail of the room. "I felt bad as I was always busy so I called your friends, and with their help threw this party. Its the least I can do for your 13th birthday!" She gleamed, pulling me in to a warm hug. "What was the big news about?" Drew shrilled, helping himself to a icing bun. I smiled and remembered back to what happened...
FLASHBACK
"Dawn, I've got something to tell you..." Ash muttered, cupping his soft hands into mine. I blushed a bit and smiled. "Yes Ash?" I smiled, the beautiful smile on his face, stretching. The space between us closed as he leaned in, his soft minty breath seemed inches close. "I love you..." he whispered before brushing his lips on mine. My pupils grew as a sign of astonishment. The boy I loved, thought would never returned the favor, was kissing me?! Of course who was I to reject it? I leaned closer, giving more passion to this kiss. The moment was breath taking as the warm breeze ran through the oak tree gaps and whistled natures tune. We soon departed, staring into each others eye with pure love. His soft, chocolate hazel eyes, was a dreamy delight. "I felt the same way..." I lipped, continuing the moment, he smile stretched as he pulled me in to a friendly hug. "Be mine." He breathed, his warm breath tickling my neck. "Be mine forever Dawn..." I giggled at his question and hugged him harder, the moment couldn't get any better.
"How rude of Ash! That's going to probably be the biggest birthday present ever." Mother winked, teasing me about the great invent. "Speaking of Ash.." May interrupted, smiling brightly.
"Is her here?!" I gasped, shrieking with excitement. Gentle hands were suddenly cupped around my blue eyes all of a sudden and a warm similar breath chirped "Guess who?" I squealed in excitement as I called out the answer "ASH! ASHY!" His husky voice chuckled dreamily as he uncovered my eyes. I hugged him tightly as he responded the hug with a hug back. "Miss me?" he teased, stroking my head. "I sure did..." I whispered faintly. "D'aww! How cute!" Misty gurgled, her voice cracked as if she wanted to cry.
"Misty?" Ash questioned turning around to face her shaken face. She hesitated as everyone looked at her and then quickly stammered "I ate that bun... and it didn't taste so great.."she groaned, the room suddenly burst with echoes of chuckles of laughter. Drew, seeming disgusted, put his unfinished bun in the bin worriedly, taking another sample and checking its details carefully. I didn't by the act though, Misty doesn't like this whole idea of me and ash, and I was worried how it would affect her.
