"Bella?"
Bella groaned. Her temple was throbbing, but she opened her eyes anyway to see Alice sitting on the bed in which she was laying. After taking a quick look around, the blinds were closed and no light source was powered, but she could see fine. She couldn't remember the past three days… or was it a week?
"Are you okay?"
Bella merely groaned again.

"Seriously, Bella, are you all right?" Bella was well on her way to the restroom by now. As soon as she flipped on the light switch, she heard Edward stomp into the room in which she had been sleeping and say to Alice, "You just had to wake her up, didn't you?" However, after brushing the hair out of her eyes, she felt no need to eavesdrop on the rest of the conversation; her eyes were brilliant blood red, and she resembled Rosalie more than she resembled her own parents. Her skin was considerably lighter than it had been, especially before her move to Forks. Before she could continue to examine the rest of her body, Edward calmly opened the bathroom door.
"How's your first day as a vampire?" he asked. She turned to look at him and replied, "I'm thirsty."
"For water?" Edward asked, though the answer was quite obvious.
"No." Bella walked up to him and hugged him briskly, her grip tightening with seconds passing by due to her newfound strength as a vampire. She couldn't really believe it, at first, really.
"I'm dizzy." she moaned after they broke apart. Edward smiled.
"Let's go camping."
