Rose's POV-
I looked over at my mom who must I say...looked a little exhausted. Well, that's an understatement. My mom's currently buying me my book. To be more specific, my potions book. You must be confused.
My name is Rose Weasley. I'm the daughter of Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. I'm 11 years old, and I'm getting my supplies for my first year in Hogwarts!
(Time skip to the train)
"Why does she get to go but not me? That's so unfair!"
"Hugo, don't worry. Your time will come soon." my mom said before kissing me on the cheek.
"Hey, isn't that Malfoy?"
At the mention of the name "Malfoy" my dad's head snapped towards the direction Uncle Harry was pointing at. I've always known about the Weasley-Malfoy history. I mean, you'd be living under a rock if you didn't.
Suddenly the Hogwarts train blew its warning whistle, leaving only a couple of minutes before the train left.
"Rosie, do you see that boy over there?" my dad asked me, giving me his undivided attention.
I looked over to where he was pointed and saw a boy about my age who was DEFINITELY a Malfoy. He had messy natural platinum blonde hair, beautiful silver eyes which were directed towards me, and had pale skin. Wait, DIRECTED TOWARD ME!? I blushed and looked down knowing that he caught me staring at him. He's probably used to it, he's gorgeous. I also know that I probably look like a tomato.
"Yeah. What about him?"
"Stay away from him. He's a Malfoy. Plus, grandfather Weasley would never forgive you if you marry a Malfoy." he said, looking at the boy like he was a piece of trash.
Mom gasped. "Ronald! She hasn't even met the boy!"
"Yeah yeah, I won't. I have to go now, otherwise I might miss the train. Bye!" I yelled as I ran to the train.
I looked around only to find that all the compartments were full. Great. Just great.
"Rose! There you are! I've been looking all over for you."
I turned around to see my cousin, Albus.
"Wow, Albus. Wow. You left me."
"What! No I didn't. And if you keep up with that attitude, I won't let you in the compartment I found."
Oh thank Merlin he has a compartment.
"Come on, I'll show you. I also met someone there. He's really nice."
After a couple minutes of walking, Albus finally turned into a compartment. About time. I turned in to see a boy with reading. Not just any boy. The Malfoy boy. The same boy my dad told me to stay away from. My eyes widened and I pulled Albus's arm.
"What?"
"Albus we can't sit here!" I whispered-yelled.
"Why not?"
"Because he's a Malfoy!" Malfoy's head immediately snapped up, giving me cold, hard eyes. Yeah, I'm not a good whisperer...
"Rose! Don't be rude!" Abus said as he snatched his arm away and sat down.
"It's ok Albus." Malfoy said before putting aside his book. "I get it alot."
(30 minutes later)
It's been 30 minutes. And all 30 minutes I just sat down in my seat pretending to read while Albus and Malfoy- who I later learned name was Scorpius, talked like they were best friends. It's like Albus forgot all about me.
(Time skip to sorting hat)
I'm practically drowning in my sweat right now. Yeah, I'm that nervous. I really want to be sorted in Gryffindor. I started to space out, only hearing a couple of names.
"Dorothy Alem"
"GRYFFINDOR"
"Scorpius Malfoy"
"SLYTHERIN"
"Albus Potter"
"SLYTHERIN"
Wait, what! Before I knew it, it was my turn.
"Rose Weasley"
"GRYFFINDOR"
Yes!
I found out all the Potters and Weasleys got into Gryffindor. All except Albus. I turned around only to see Albus, looking as happy as a baby with candy may I say, talking with Malfoy. That traitor.
*Middle of the year.
Gathering my books, I got up and left the library. As I walked to the Gryffindor common room, I suddenly fell on the cold hard ground.
"Well well well, if it isn't Weasley."
Oh Merlin, it's him. Let me fill you guys in because you missed a lot. Me, unpopular nerd with only family as friends except for one other girl, Dorothy, who is also unpopular and a nerd. She's so called ugly but I think she's just unique. Scorpius Malfoy, popular boy of the school who is wanted by the whole female population. (apart from me, of course.) Also best friends with Albus. Me and Malfoy? You guessed it. We despise each other. Back to reality.
"What do you want, Malfoy?"
He eyed me up and down. "Nothing from you, that's for sure" he smirked. Then he walked away, but not before kicking my bag so that everything scatters.
"Bye Weasley."
"I hate him."
"Really? I think I love him." Dorothy said while tieing her bobbed hair into a tight ponytail. Dorothy always had this weird crush on him (like all girls). And I'm saying it's weird because she likes to stalk him...
"Oh Merlin"
