"Recognised: Artemis B07"

Artemis walked in the quiet cave in her civilian clothes. She looked around, unsure why there was nobody greeting her. Shrugging it off, she walked around the whole place and eventually found Conner in the kitchen.

"Hey, Artemis. What are you doing here? Was there a mission briefing I missed?", he called out. Artemis was slightly amused at how the boy didn't even look up, too engrossed with the scattered baking stuff around him. He probably heard her from all the way here, anyway.

She joined him behind the counter and picked up a pink recipe book in front of him. "There's a haze down in Gotham so I decided to drop by," she replied while turning the book over, "A better question is, what are you doing?"

"Well," Conner picked up an egg and looked at it questioningly, "M'gann's been hinting at me a lot about our upcoming anniversary. She's actually out shopping with Zatanna and Rocket right now for it."

Conner sighed and put the egg back down on the tray. He turned to the blonde and scratched his head, "I thought maybe I'd use the opportunity to try and bake something for the first time, as practice. Although, I really have no idea what I'm doing right now."

Artemis looked at the dejected boy in front of her. She almost wanted to pinch his cheeks and hug his adorable being. M'gann was-is so lucky to have Superboy.

"You know," she picked up the green plastic spatula on the counter-top and smiled warmly at the boy, "I've been feeding a speedster's bottomless pit for a few months now, so I know a thing or two about baking."
