Yes, I know, I haven't updated or made written another story in a while but as always, I have been crazy busy.

After watching last week's episode ("Lauren") I felt like I absolutely had to write a story about it! I loved the episode (How could I not? It was directed by the wonderful Matthew Gray Gubler!) But the ended just killed me! I was sitting there in my living room, bawling my eyes out. In fact, I'm surprised nobody asked me what was wrong!

Disclaimer: I still do not own Criminal Minds, obviously. Also, I do not own the poem "For Whom the Bell Tolls" By John Donne.

For Whom the Bell Tolls

Emily Prentiss knew she shouldn't be here, but she just couldn't help herself. She'd spent an entire year as Maura Page and as scared as she was to come back, she did anyway. She was walking up to her grave when she noticed a man had already beaten her to it.

Reid was sitting in front of Emily's tombstone, turning through a book and glancing up every few seconds.

"Well, Prentiss, it's been a year. Things at the BAU still haven't been the same but what do you expect? Sure, we lost Gideon but at least he's still alive. Anyway, I thought I'd read this poem for you." He started, before sighing deeply.

"No man is an island, entire of itself. Each is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less. As well as if a promontory were. As well as if manors of thine own or of thine friend's were. Each man's death diminishes me, for I am involved in mankind. Therefore, send not to know for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee." He recited.

"Did you know that John Donne's reason of death has not been proven? But most people believe he died of stomach cancer." He spouted off.

"A lot of things have changed. Morgan and Garcia are finally dating. It took them long enough. JJ and Will got married and Henry is going to a big brother soon. Rossi wrote another book. Seaver took your old job." He told before lying on his back.

"As for me, well I'm engaged. My fiancé, Taylor, found out she was pregnant a few weeks after I proposed. We've been dating for 19 months, 12 days, and 18 hours. And my daughter, Emily Michelle Reid was born two months ago." He grinned.

Prentiss felt tears welling up in her eyes. She had missed so much this past year. Things were so different. Heck, Reid was a dad now!

Spencer looked down at his watch before standing up. "Sorry Prentiss, I have to go. We're driving to Taylor's parent's place so Emmy can see her grandparents." He announced, still grinning.

"Hey good looking, we're going to be late if you keep boasting about your daughter. Though I must admit, she is perfect." A blonde said, coming up behind him, carrying a baby.

"Sorry, Tay, just thought I'd tell Prentiss about Emily. Considering she would have been Emily's God-mother. Come on, let's go." He stated before standing up and taking little Emily.

Prentiss sat behind a tree, crying silently as she heard them leave. Her team had moved on, yet had not forgotten her. She ached to have Maura Page left behind and once again live as herself, Emily Prentiss.

A/N: So there it is. I hope you enjoyed it. I also hope that Paget Brewster will come back next season. By the way, I did mean to have Spencer call his daughter Emmy even though her name is Emily. And I came up with Prentiss' alias, Maura Page, on a spur of the moment =]

Love,
