Katara listened to the sound of her black pointed boots as they clicked on the red and gold marble. She could hear the laughter of two children as they played or in her mind sparred, but the children of her husband called it 'playing'. Who had her husband become? His Father. Who had her wonderful children become? Like their Mother except for their 'playing'. Katara and her husband had been having rows more often than not. (A/N: A 'row' is a fight).
What had happened to her wonderful world? Gone, gone with the Avatar she'd once taken secret thrill in loving.
What had happened to her family? Dead, all except a brother who had become them monster his so-called wife was. Katara laughed bitterly, the Princess was certainly evil, but Katara had never thought he , they would become like her.
Katara stepped into the wide, spacious 'play-room' of her two children
Heat shot one way, while a cool ice flew the opposite.
They had earned nicknames from their older brother, Z, before he left for the Northern Water Tribe, The Angel and the Devil.
