Hey everyone! This is Andromeda, signing in for a new fanfiction. This time, I'll be writing a PJO fanfic 'cus I just love PJO!

So pls review! They are most appreciated. ^_^

Disclaimer: I do not own PJO.

Not right.

It wasn't right; I was still part of the family, no matter what. Even if there were new members in it, like my stepmother, Helen, for example. I should still be respected.

Well, I still was.

That is, if becoming a lowly servant, waiting on the Chase family's beck and call - despite the fact that they are your own family, is counted as respected.

It was what I had become within two years.

Honestly, I had never known that things would have changed so quickly. If someone were to tell me, two years ago, that I would no longer be treated as young lady of the Chase residence, I would have laughed. Mocked them, even.

Now I'm not so sure.

I can't tell anyone; but my friends know. They know about the pretense made in public, how differently I'm treated within the walls of the house. They want to help, I know that. But I cannot, will not risk their safety. They have no idea what Helen, or worse, her daughters Drew and Celine, will do if they find out.

Drew and Celine are my stepsisters. We don't share the same mother, nor the same father. My brothers, Bobby and Matthew, are from the same father though. They're the only ones I can rely on, despite their young age - The two of them are only 6. Celine and Drew... maybe not so much. They seem to take pride in seeing me suffer.

Drew is the worst.

Once, I told a friend of mine, Leona, what had happened to me - that the public still thinks I'm still the young lady of the family, and how things change at home. Drew found out when Leona tried to tell my father about it - he's still oblivious unfortunately, else I would not be in this horrible situation. The next time I saw her was in the hospital. She was covered in bruises, cuts and scratches that were undoubtedly made by fingernails - That was what the doctor told me.

She was too traumatised to tell everyone what had happened to her, but when I visited, she said only one word: Drew. Only then had I realised that Drew would do anything it took to stop anyone who tried to tell father; to stop anyone from trying to help me. Even if it meant hurting the people I loved.

That day was the day I last saw Leona; People told me that she and her parents had moved away, away from Atlantis to another Kingdom - Athens, I suppose - after she had recovered.

Now I'm stuck here, all alone.

I don't know what to do anymore.

A/N So how did you like it? This chapter is written in Annabeth's POV - I.e. her thoughts.

Please review! Because this is only a preview of the story. I'm still deciding if I should continue this - Or Not. I'm planning for the story to be published later in the year if you guys like the story and want me to continue with it. So really, please review to tell me if I should continue, kay? They would be really appreciated. So yeah. XD Oh and just to let y'all know, Leona is NOT a female version of Leo.

Yours in demigodishness, and all that. Peace out.

~Andromeda
