Mercy Marie Williams, age 19, sat in a corridor in a hospital everyone she loved was gone. Her Mother, father and sister had all died in a fire, there was only one man left who cared about her and she hadn't seen him in 10 years. That's when it happened she heard it that familiar wheezing groan.
"Doctor!"
She whispered to herself. 'It has to be him' she thought to herself running through the lime green corridor, and there he was, her doctor. She hugged him but he tried to get away
"Mercy listen, I have to go, please"
The fire had blinded mercy but she knew it was him, she could feel it. She touched his face and felt the regeneration energy already there.
"You're...no...you're...dying?"
"Mercy...you can't be with me for this...Ah!"
He doubled over and she felt it with him, she loved him, she felt his chocolate brown eyes looking at her, what color would they be next, Blue, Green, he was a paradox. Constant but ever changing, and he was hers. What if he didn't feel the same way next time. What if he didn't love her anymore. The thoughts went on and on.
"Doctor your the only thing I have left...I'm coming with you"
She followed him into the TARDIS. When he regenerated she felt the explosive force of it. She tried to calm him mentally as best she could. She felt him nearing her, then she felt his soft lip meet with hers.
"You still love me?"
"Of course I do, mercy"
She sighed as he embraced her.
"Can I stay with you?"
"If you want"
"For the rest of existence"
He smiled at her and she could feel his happiness
