Summary:
A drabble of a missing scene in the second season episode 'P911'. Kevin had just met Mehtevas outside a public school and what exactly is going on in Aaron Hotchner's mind...
Drabble:
Aaron Hotchner didn't want to abandon Kevin. Not after they had just rescued him. Kevin has suffered more than his share and he needs help to deal with his past. Unknowingly he had almost set himself up to be eaten alive by predators. He didn't have anybody to rely on and he just wanted to survive. He realized what had happened to him was wrong, he wanted to help Peter1 and that was all Aaron needed. He knew all too well, finally he wasn't too late and he would be there for Kevin, if and when he needed him.
"Social Services is picking up Kevin at the Alexandria field office, I'm gonna go with him. I'll be back as soon as I can!"
Notes:
1 The identity of the abducted boy was unknown at this point and the Crimes against Children Unit had named the boy Peter.
