The Marissa Thing
"Coop, Coop, where are you coop?"
"I'm in here Summer, I was just looking for that blue handbag my mom got me from Paris"
Sometimes I feel like things couldn't get worse what with everything that happened with Ryan, Luke, Johnny and Volchok. With my dad leaving and well my mom sleeping with every single young, good looking guy in Newport things have been difficult. At least she has Frank so she is finally happy. But the worst part of everything that's happened is him the reason it all happened I'm not saying its a bad thing that he came I mean I love the guy it's just that when I'm not with him I'm sad but when I am with him we fight and it makes me think. It makes me think about how we can possibly stay together but if were not I feel like I cant go on.
"So are we going to meet Seth and Ryan at the diner?" I asked while pulling clothes out of my crowded closet.
"Yeah but I think Ryan is bringing his girlfriend." Summer said while holding pancakes.
"G-girlfriend? Ryan has a girlfriend? That's good for him. What's her name?" I asked trying to seem like I didn't care.
"Ummm I think her name is Mikayla or something like th..." Summer said until being interrupted by my mom.
"Hey ladies, oh Marissa your dad called and said his boat is docking in Malibu and he wanted to take you and your sister to lunch." Julie mentioned while looking at her watch.
"Late for something mom?" I asked sarcastically.
"Ummm no, well yes I'm meeting Frank at the catering company to work on the menu for the wedding, see you later Summer and Marissa don't forget to pick up your sister after school." My mom explained suspiciously.
With my mom telling me that I knew she was lying. Oh crap I forgot about Kaitlin.
"Come on Summer I found my bag lets go meet the guys."
Ring Ring Ring "Summer your phones ringing." I announced to Summer as we were pulling out of the driveway.
"Coop that was Seth, he said to hurry up and get to the diner but, he wouldn't say why."
"Well than let's hurry up it must be important for Seth to declare something."
"Hey my boyfriend can be assertive when he wants to just the other night when we were trying something new Taylor recomen..."
"OK OK I get it sum I get it." I stopped her in disgust.
When we pulled up at the diner I noticed a tiny sports car in the parking lot.
"Whose car is that?" I asked Summer while staring at the light blue corvette.
"I don't know lets go in and find out." Summer answered me as we walked in the diner to see Ryan with a beautiful blonde.
"Hey guys what's up?" I asked while sliding in the booth next to Summer who was kissing Seth.
"Hey this is Mikayla, Ryan's girlfriend she's a model!" Seth exclaimed while staring at the gorgeous blonde under Ryan's arm.
"Hi I'm Marissa, nice to meet you." I said while shaking Mikayla's hand.
"Hey I have to go pick Kaitlin up from school." I said trying to leave as soon as possible.
"Nice to meet you Marissa." Mikayla said while smiling and being as polite as she could but i could tell she didn't like me.
Great another friend. I sarcasticaly wispered in my head.
