"…and multiply it…by SIX!"
Why six? Well, it's not a conspiracy number, but it's not a random number either. Megamind specifically chose this number using complicated, advanced, mathematical calculations. A theory based on the level of terror that our favorite blue hero thought he could inflict upon the people of Metrocity…Ahem, Metro City.
Which gives us an insider's look at his honesty. As some might have noticed, our large-headed friend was a terrible liar. I mean, just take a look at this small part:
MM: "…dimwitted creation of science! What? Oh, no not you, Roxanne. I was just yelling at my…mother's urn."
A few minutes later.
RR: "Wait, how did you get here so fast?"
MM: "Uh, I happened to be speed walking nearby when you called."
RR: "In a suit?"
MM: "Uh huh, it's called: Formal Speed Walking. But that's not important."
Okay… so he was speed walking nearby when she called with his mother's urn? Which leads me to question the intelligence of both MM and RR. Neither of them caught it. But it sure added to the silliness!
Another observation I made is that after RR dumps him and he walks off in the rain it came to me: the way his collar is shaped would just funnel torrents of rain down inside his shirt! And he walked all the way back to the lair, he must've been beyond drenched! That made me feel even more sorry for him.
Other things: Whenever the Disguise Generator Watch (DGW) is used, the user's eye color stays the same except when someone uses the DGW to become Megamind, their eyes are turned green. e.g. The warden has blue eyes but when he put on the watch and turned into MM his eyes were green. Same thing with brown-eyed Minion at the end.
And another thing: Even with his huge head, Megamind is shorter than most other characters. Which would explain why his Black Mamba boots had eight-inch soles.
On the DVD case for the movie, MM is missing his little goatee. This infinitely annoys me! Why do they always mess stuff up like that?
The D-gun has eight settings: DE-HYDRATE, DE-STROY, DE-ATH RAY, DE-MORALIZE, DE-COMPRESS, DE-BILITATE, and DE-COUPAGE. Knock yourself out.
