A/N: Set after s1ep5- Young & Younger. I know it's been... a while since that episode but I've had this for a while and wish it had happened. *smiley

Just as Gabi leaned her back against the door, Sofia came walking out of her bedroom with her arms crossed. Her face read, I told you so, and Gabi scoffed.

"Don't even," she said.

"Don't what?" Sofia replied innocently, dropping onto the couch. "Say that I was right? Gabi, Josh drove across town, after leaving a party of his nerd friends and video games, might I add, to save your ass. Literally."

Gabi paced in front of her, gesticulating. "He cares about me. That is completely normal in a boss-employee relationship."

Sofia made another face. "Oh, really? Oh, no, my one night stand is about to sleep with a minor. I'd better run on over and check it out. Again, across the damn town."

"He's like–a big brother, Sofia. Nothing more," Gabi told her.

"Oh, please, Gabi, what was that this morning then? With the poppers and–and the–I mean did you even hear yourselves? You were undressing each other with food speak."

"No we weren't!" Gabi said, her mouth open in contempt.

"Yeah right, honey, he sure was. Why don't you just admit it?" demanded Sofia. "He wouldn't even have left tonight if not for me yelling. You know it. Fess up."
"There is nothing between Josh and I. He is engaged, for God's sake–"

"And if there were no Caroline…? What then? You'd have a shot?"

"If there were no Caroline, Sofia, Josh and I never would've even happened in the first place. So any way you look at it, we aren't together. Josh is going to get married and have Jaroline babies and that's it."

"Jaroline? Really? You gave them a couple name?" Sofia said with incredulity. "That girl is fifty shades of bitch and you know it."

"She makes Josh happy, Sofia. And that's good enough for me. It doesn't matter if I like her or not. I'm just his chef."

"Yeah, the chef he slept with not two days into her job," Sofia said flatly. "Gabi, the sexual tension is still radiating around this place! Don't you at least owe it to yourselves to see what you guys have?"

"No, but I do owe money to the bank; okay, Sofia, this is hands down the best job I've ever had and–I don't want to lose it because Josh and I make another mistake."

"If it went as well as the first time, you wouldn't be looking for a job. You'd be promoted."

"Great. I'm not getting into it with Josh and Caroline."

"Getting into what? Bed? Personally I'd remove Caroline from that scenario."

"Get your head out of the gutter, Sofia!" Gabi ordered. "I am not going to have a relationship with my boss! End of discussion."

"Fine. Have fun sitting alone eating by yourself–without a man, I mean–while I sleep. Because all that fake sex made me tired–"

"Sofia!"

"Fine! God!"
