The faceless person

I looked into the mirror

To see what I could be

I had no future, I had no past

Who was this person staring back at me?

I looked into the mirror

To see all I am inside

I saw desperation and aggravation

Inside they all hide

I looked into the mirror

To see the real me

But all I saw was a faceless person

Staring back at me.
