(Yep safe to say, this is so fun! I have thought Red X to be one of my favorite characters but Cheshire comes pretty close. Okay this will endure some swearing, but mostly in Vietnamese. Just sit back enjoy.)
"That's it! Your gonna get it now chó! (Bitch!)" Before Jade Nguyen could duck a huge open-palmed hand swung her way. A sickening, rough slap was echoed through the house, Jade believed it could be heard through the entire village. She hit the wooden floorboards hard and cussed all the words a twelve year old would know. Why did this have to happen to her. This man... Master Chaoi was a evil person in her eyes. She may be a slave, but she was treated less than so.
If that assassin... that 'professional' hadn't murdered her parents she probably would be out working in the rice field with her father. At least it was quick, Jade Nguyen told herself constantly, he had just slit their throats in the sleep, no pain, no torture. Not like what Jade was enduring before she meets her parents again. She was sure she would soon. The way her master was treating her would clarify that.
By the time Jade had snapped back to reality, she was sitting on the floor with knees to her chin, head tucked to her chest, lightly sobbing. If she was too loud her master would just hit her more. Jade had looked up for a couple seconds, the man had turned his back on her, looking out the window solemnly, as if his beatings would bring him peace. That disgusted Jade. Disgusted her so much that suddenly something she never thought possible, happened.
"ARGHH!" Jade had gotten up and charged at her master, he didn't have time to react. She wrapped her hands around Chaoi's neck and, while choking him, slammed his head repeatedly against the window sill. Some anguish in her body just expelled... and didn't stop. This surprised Chaoi, for a malnutritioned twelve year old, she was able to keep him in her grasped.
After several slams, something in Jades gut just burst and she slammed Chaoi's head against the window sill with all her might. Crack was all Jade heard when she dropped his lifeless body to the floor. The metal window sill had broken under the pressure, pure blood stains covering the window. A sudden realization hit Jade.
"I have just killed a man" she screamed. Her first kill. Jade wasn't saying that that khốn (bastard) didn't deserve it. Oh, no he deserved every bit of it but that fact she had killed him was boggling her mind. She had to think fast, no one came from the sound of the slap at the start, then they would come now. So what did Jade do? She ran.
Gathering as much valuables and Dong she could hold (Please don't, just don't. It's their currency...) she ran to the forestry. As she passed the first few rows of trees something played on Jade's face. It wasn't tears, it wasn't disgust.
No... it was a smile.
(Now this one I am happy with, what an ending. Well, hoped you enjoyed and remember critiques are welcome not flames. Peace out.)
