The start of a new year at East High
Students pour into school.
Troy and Gabriella walk hand in hand down a hallway smiling.
Sharpay struts through crowded corridors with Ryan close behind.
Chad and Taylor flirt with each other in the cafeteria.
And everything changes
Ms. Darbus stands at the front of the class with an unusual, older-looking boy beside her.
"Class, it is a great pleasure to welcome a new student among us; Frank Morrison."
The boy looks bored. He rolls his eyes.
Chad leans over his desk to talk to Troy on the seat in front of him.
"Dude, I hear this is like the third time he's been moved down."
Troy chuckles and Frank glares at him.
A new face threatens to break the bond between friends
Frank pushes past Gabriella and Taylor who are chatting. Gabriella crosses her arms and Taylor stares after him with disgust.
Troy and Chad are talking and eating in the cafeteria when the Frank walks past. He reaches down and takes Troy's bun from his tray.
"Hey!" Troy shouts after him but he keeps walking.
Mentally
Taylor: That boy creeps me out…
Frank winks at Taylor. She shudders.
Chad looks in his locker to find his kit missing.
"Coach won't be happy…" Troy warns before leaving. As he looks around, Chad hears dripping. He follows the sound to the restroom where he finds his basketball kit stuffed in a toilet. His mouth drops open.
And physically
Frank sticks a foot out as Taylor walks past causing her to trip.
In another scene, he shoves Troy into a wall.
He grabs Gabriella's wrist and twists it. She screams and he smiles before twisting it further.
The gang are hiding an awful secret
Looking in the mirror, Troy lifts his shirt to reveal a series of bruises over his torso. He grimaces.
Taylor sits cross-legged on the centre of her bed sobbing uncontrollably.
Gabriella stands at the front door of her house, reluctant to leave as her hand trembles over the handle.
A folded piece of paper lands on Chad's desk in class. He looks around and opens it. It reads; Watch out. His eyes dart around the room and he sinks slightly into his seat.
And when they take matters into their own hands…
Gabriella: Troy? What are you doing?
Troy turns a knife over in his hands and slips it into his pocket.
Troy: It's just for protection.
Chad punches Frank in the face hard.
Gabriella talks desperately to a concerned looking Ms. Darbus.
Things take a drastic turn
[Flash various images
Taylor falls violently to the floor.
Frank throws many forceful punches.
Gabriella gets slammed into a wall with a hand around her neck.
A hand is raised holding a knife and then thrust downward into someone.
Troy sits hunched up in the dark. It's raining. In his hands, his knife glimmers. He bows his head.
An experience that will soil friendships
Chad says something that clearly angers Troy.
"You son of a - "
Flash of Troy punching Chad in slow-motion.
A year that will change them all…
Troy bends over a toilet and throws up.
Taylor looks at a test paper with shock.
"F?!"
Gabriella tries to hide tears as she walks down a school hallway.
Chad holds an icepack to a black eye and winces.
Blood pools out from under a door.
Forever
Frank: (whispers) I told you not to tell…

A/N: So I've never written a trailer before. It's kinda rubbish but you get the picture. Tune in for the story. Be warned though, it is definately going to be a long time before I update it because I'm unbelievably busy. I'll update when I can!
