Elena and Gabby's Bathtime
Summary: It's bath time for Gabby and Elena as it's their first time since they were born in an actual bathtub. What happens when Elena's imagination starts running wild?
Disclaimer: I don't own the character of Sofia. Only Nell, Elena, and Gabby.
Note: Inspired by the Rugrats season seven episode Dil's Bathtime.
"You sure you wanna do this?" Sofia asked with concern as she placed a naked Gabby in the tub with her Anna boat, knowing that for two weeks since they were born that the girls had been bathed with sponges, not the regular bathtub.
"Sofia I'm sure. Besides, I wasn't given those Frozen baby boats for nothing," Nell said, placing Elena in the Elsa boat. "Elena look! Gabby's here!"
Elena, in her imagination, dressed in a red sailor suit began to look around the shores of the water, searching for her twin.
Seeing a giant monster duck, she tried to push it away only to (unknowingly) see a huge wave.
In a panic she began to splash out in fear, trying to push the wave back.
"Someone's fussy," Sofia commented, patting Elena's head. "Don't worry sweetheart your mommy and I got you. You don't see Gabby fussing about do you?"
Elena turned away from Sofia and back to the water, it's waves raising furiously in a form of wrath.
"Gabby! Help!" Elena screamed, ringing the bell that she imagined being part of her ship. "Monster water! I have sail this ship back!"
Elena held onto the handles of her ship as she turned it around.
"I thought this would work but it seems Elena hates it," Nell muttered, holding back choked sobs.
"But Gabby doesn't," Sofia said as Gabby played happily with her toy duck.
"Drop the duck Gabby!" Elena yelled, battling the wrath of the water.
"Huh? Elena what are you talking about?" Gabby asked before noticing the waters wrath. "Oh water halt!"
The water stopped at Gabby's command, yet Elena was still terrified, splashing Nell furiously.
"Sweetest you're getting my blouse wet," Nell told her, trying to settle her down.
"Elena Lydia Miranda I don't what has gotten into you but Sofia gots you," Sofia said with a smile.
Got her? Elena wasn't convinced, hearing Gabby playing happily.
Some twin sister she was.
"I don't know what's going on in your head Elena but Auntie Sofia will make you all better," Sofia assured the fussy infant as she gave her a toy boat to play with. "It seems like Madeline started something."
Nell sighed, taking off her soaked blouse. "I just don't understand it. Gabby loves bath time but when Bobby Lee makes faces Elena is calmed down enough to where she hardly gives me any trouble."
Back in the ocean, Elena giggled, hearing the sound of a blowing ship.
It wasn't Gabby who just sat there playing with the duck but someone she knew very well. Her mother's boyfriend and she couldn't have been happier to see him.
Especially since it made her realize that she was finally safe from the wrath of the ocean.
