Electric Love:

I was so happy! My pulse was racing and my body was now running on adrenaline. I had just defeated a Quagsire and I was at a disadvantage too, him being part ground and all. I even managed not to shock myself when attacking.

I've never won such a hard battle before. I always used to try and battle against my brothers and sisters, but they always pushed me away. I was different, I was the runt. I was abandoned by my parents, left all alone in the middle of a forest. That's where Lily found me, laying still on the ground, she thought I was dead.

I was never taught how to survive by myself and I didn't know how to find anything to eat. When she picked me up I was scared so I shocked her, she nearly dropped me. She started running towards a large round building (I later learnt that it was called a Pokemon centre). I was shocking her the whole time, but she never let go.

I nearly died that night and would have if she hadn't found me. That was two year ago and I was stronger now. I didn't like Lily at first and would never listen to her. Then I was in a fight against an Onix, it used Rock Blast and I closed my eyes waiting for the pain... it never came.

Lily was in front of me, protecting me. I listened to her after that and I became her favourite. She taught me new moves like Electro ball and Volt tackle. I love Lily now and I would do anything for her.

I felt Powerful and... warm? I looked down at myself and saw myself glowing, my ears and tail getting longer, my fur was darkening to a more yellow colour. Power flooded through me and electric zapped around me and I glared at my new opponent... a Zubat, his shocked expression watching me. I grinned over to Lily and her happy expression. I was stronger and I could beat anyone! Electric surrounded me and surged thorough my body, I let it wash through my body and I blasted it towards my flying foe. 'Pika... CHU!'

The Zubat fainted straight away even though he was like 10 levels higher than me. Its trainer recalled it, chucked some money at Lily and stormed off angrily. I ran to Lily, squealing, jumping into her arms she hugged me tight.

'I love you Sparky' she whispered into my glistening new fur.
