Author's Note: I don't know why, but this poem decided to write itself. I've been avoiding the gay romance theme for a while now, so I decided to give it a spin. I hope that y'all like it. ^_^
~ "The Adonis" ~
The rust and dust of his bearded crust
Are merely all that I lust.
His husky faculties prickle and trickle
The sweat of my forbidden trust.
With a declaration of my dying must.
Each of them dazzle and frazzle
The framed brow of my ostracized shadow.
For a while, it loomed over the stretching walls
Of my lover's navy blue castle
In a haze of my heart's pulsating baffle.
Now, it tries my man from a glance,
And borrows our sliding hands for a slow but steady dance.
...The Adonis lights a candle to our budding romance.
