Okay, I've never written in this universe before...heck, I read the books years ago.

But I thought of this great idea, and thought I'd do a one-shot on it. Hope you all enjoy!

It's set in the first book!

Harry sat in the compartment with Ron and the bushy-haired girl, whose name was Hermione. There was suddenly a tap at the door, and it slid open.

A blond boy in a wheelchair looked at them through narrow eyes, obviously annoyed about something. His eyes set on Harry, quickly taking in the scar and glasses.

"You're Potter, aren't you?"

Harry scratched the back of his neck, smiling slightly in greeting.

"Uh, yeah. Who're you?"

The blonde wrinkled his nose, making any redeemable features he might have had melt into an ugly mask.

"And judging by the red hair and hand-me-down robes, you must be a Weasely." He said smugly.

Ron bristled, his ears turning red with embarassment. Hermione looked back and forth between the two.

"You should be in your cab now...the train's moving. That's the rules." Hermione didn't sound as pushy, despite the boy's rudeness. Maybe because he hadn't been rude to her personally yet...

He was soon to remedy that, however.

"Shut up, bucktooth. No one asked you."

Hermione frowned deeply, self consciously closing her mouth. Harry frowned.

"What are you doing? This isn't even your cabin. Do you normally go around starting fights?"

The blonde rolled his eyes, gesturing at the symbol above the door.

"This is the handicapped cabin, Potter."

That explained why it was so spacious...

I was thinking Hermione wouldn't be as bossy/harsh if Malfoy was in a wheelchair. At least until she gets to know him...

Anyway, that was my little one-shot. Don't be too harsh please!!
