Sonnet
A Tale of three
You who dwell in the shelters of the dark
Are bound to those who lead in the light
Waiting for a time to again leave your mark
To strike down their holy will to fight
The key lay in a ped'stal, a treasure gods chose to hide
But alas, from the forest Green, come the one who is meek
With a tender heart, and a time be at his side,
For though young, he shows foolishness; his judgement weak
For turn and see as the sword is raised, unlocked the door!
Everything, yes, all the power one could dream!
But expectations die, imperfect balance heart breaks the Gold of Lore
Bound is three, together is wisdom of belle, courage of fool, and power of fiend!
And you laugh now, a maniac in nothing but blood thirsty greed
For in seven years soon, to the fool you mock; you shall heed
Tercet
The Tale of those bound
Wise, A thief of the quietest change, a princess in garb of her keeper
Power, A monster lacking control, sending many to he called reaper
Courage, strength greater than Raw Power, the one called Savior
Simple Rhyme (Couplets)
The prodigy, The Hero of Time
No other tale could be told in such perfect rhyme
As that of a fairy and a boy, the Hero of Time
Using a Sword of Evil's Bane like a ship on time's flow
He uses the strength of courage to deliver a final blow
Chosen by the goddesses, appointed by the force of fate
To save the world from evil, the Hyrule they strived to create
The sword though, oh sweet fool, a sealed key!
For with it pulled, you were tricked, Golden Power is all evil can see!
But imperfect balance, intentions of the dark
For the wolves start to howl, dogs threaten a bark
The Triforce, a gift to the true, is shattered at his contact
One unto her and one unto you, creating a new contract
They are kept within, until the death at the hand of one with gold
Should you die otherwise, it will pass to new from the old
But o' foolish child, for you must be safe from his capture, most malicious in deed
So we must shield you until you are a man worthy of noble steed
