The Horse Whisperer: Grace's Triumph
As she mounted her horse she thought about all of the events that had happened in her life to bring her to this moment. Grace sat proudly astride Pilgrim and rode with ease around the arena thinking about everything that had happened to her over the past year; the accident, the death of her best friend, and Pilgrim's state of mind and subsequent rehabilitation, her reconciliation with her mother.
She had certainly been through a lot and she had earned this moment of glory when she was once again riding her horse and he trusted her again. He was more beautiful now than he had ever been in her opinion. Grace was proud that she and Pilgrim and she had come through the fire together more strongly bonded than ever and she was glad that she could still ride.
The relationship with her mother was much better despite all of the work they still had to do and Grace knew there was still a long ways to go. She was relieved that she could finally confide in and trust her mother with her thoughts and emotions. As she rode she saw her mother smiling from the crowd and she waved at her glad to still have a mother.
