~*~Chapter One~*~
One day a new girl showed up at the school. She was from China but she was an American. Her name was Stefaeniye.
Stefaeniye went to all her classes alone because she didn't have any friends. But then she met Cady in her math class.
She thought Cady was really cool because she knew what it was like to come to America from a foreign country and also 'cause Cady was an upperclassman.
At lunch, Stefaeniye sat with Cady and Janis and that gay guy. Janis told her about all the different cliques at the school.
"Who are those really pretty girls?" Stefaeniye asked.
"They're The Plastics," Janis said. "Cady used to be in them."
"Cool what was that like?" Stefaeniye asked.
"It was hard," Cady said. "I started hanging out with them 'cause we were going to take them down but then I started being a bitch."
"You didn't take them down?" Stefaeniye asked.
"We did, but they reformed," Cady said. "Mean girls are just like that."
"Too bad," Stefaeniye said. "There aren't any cliques in China so I don't know a lot about mean girls."
"You should join them," Janis said. "Maybe you can take them down for good."
"I don't know," Stefaeniye said. "Would they fall for it again? And besides, I'm just a freshman."
"We'll make you awesome so they'll want to be your friend," Cady said. "I've been part of them so I know what they like."
"Okay," Stefaeniye said. "It sounds like fun!"
